I am going to try something new and send out a little blog love every Wednesday featuring ideas that I think would be great for scouts, even if that wasn't the original intention.

This is when I am glad we have a smaller pack and this kind of stuff can actually be doable. Not necessarily doable by me but by somebody with a creative spirit and some extra time on their hands. How insanely cute are these bonfire cupcakes from Crissy's Crafts . These are a perfect snack for any scout get-together. I totally love the little marshmallow roasting sticks!
This is one activity that I am absolutely going to do with the Webelos next year. Make The Best of Everything has a great tutorial for the craft along with a list of tips for knife safety. It's such a great way to turn something that could be a boring lecture into a fun interactive crafty lesson.
