My daughter loves Chinese food. At first it was just steamed pork dumplings but she is constantly broadening her tastes. So today's lunch is a mishmash of leftovers from our local Chinese takeout.
I used one of the place-mats that I brought back from China along with a little Chinese puppet and kid chopsticks for the table setting.
To eat L had a fortune cookie (not actually chinese but oh well), fried noodles, steamed pork dumplings, chicken lo mein, shrimp fried rice and mandarin oranges.
And since I haven't paired a lunch with books lately, here are a couple of our foody favorites:
Dim Sum for Everyone by Grace Lin Round is a Mooncake by Roseanne Thong
Yum! What a wonderful way to share ethnic foods!
