Happy Monday Everyone!
This is a repost. I didn't want to go two weeks without a muffin tin meal but we have been super busy lately. I decided to repost one of my older muffin tin meals that you may not have seen before because it is from when I first started this blog. Maybe I should retitle it Leftover Leftovers!
C and J were off school today due to parent/teacher conferences and C invited over another J, plus I always have L . All these letters here called for an alphabet buffet for lunch. Not to mention, I didn't have enough of any one thing to feed this gang.
I used some creative license with the names of a few of the foods but overall it worked out. The kids LOVED it!! I only wish I hadn't run out of muffin tin liners.
I used cocktail food picks, cut little white squares, stuck on a set of alphabet stickers that I've had forever and never used and then taped the squares to the sticks. L and I sang our ABC's while assembling these.
A-apples B-bananas C-chicken D-dumplings E-everything pizza F-french fries G-grapes
H-hazelnut dip for fruit (Nutella) I-ice cubes (pirate skulls and crossbones)
J-juice (Kool-aid fizzy drops) K-ketchup L-Lucky Charms M-melon N-nacho chips
O-olives P-peaches Q-quackers :) R-red dip (salsa) S-strawberries T-thing 1 and thing 2 cake pops
U-Cheezit U crackers V-very berry cereal bar W-water glasses (for the ice and juice fizz drops)
XYZ-more Cheezit crackers letters xyz
This is what it looked like at the end. I also had to refill the chicken, dumplings, pizza and fries containers, in addition to adding 2 more cake pops. Want to see more? Go to Muffin Tin Mom and see what those other creative moms are up to today.
To go along with our lunch L and I read A Was Once an Apple Pie at naptime.
Have a great week everyone and come back later this week to check out the fun we had for J's 7th birthday party !
